Paul Pogba will play against Crystal Palace in Manchester United's final game of the season, boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed.
Pogba has missed United's last two matches following the death of his father, but Mourinho says the midfielder is showing strength after the loss and needs minutes ahead of the Europa League final next Wednesday.
He said: "Paul is fine; strong guy, strong mentality. He is learning how to live after his father passed away, but he is strong.
"He knows that he needs to play next Sunday because he didn't play, didn't train for a long time. He needs these minutes on the pitch, so he plays against Palace."
Mourinho, who last week branded United's remaining league games as a nuisance, also confirmed Chris Smalling and Marouane Fellaini will miss Sunday's clash at Old Trafford, leaving him no choice but to field up to 10 of Nicky Butt's youth players.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe, Dimitri Mitchell, Scott McTominay, Josh Harrop, Matthew Willock, Angel Gomes, Zachary Dearnley and goalkeepers Joel Castro and Kieran O'Hara, will all feature.
And Mourinho said: "Altogether they are not ready. One of them in the middle of a good, dynamic, experienced structure? I think yes. Lots of them together? I think no.
"We will have the two goalkeepers Joel and O'Hara, we will have Mitchell, McTominay, Josh Harrop, Matthew Willock, Gomes, Zachary, plus Fosu-Mensah and Axel. Lots of them.
"Fosu-Mensah plays on Sunday and, if the reaction is good and he manages to play the game without problems, he is a new option for the final.
"Chris Smalling has a small problem - it is a problem for the weekend but not for the final - and Marouane is the question mark. We wait today for the scans. We decided not to do it yesterday. His feelings are not bad.
"I will bring three or four first-team players to play one half, each one, where I can have a bit of experience in the team, but at the same time save them all for Wednesday. Wayne Rooney played 90 minutes in the last match so probably not him."
