Jose Mourinho walked out of his interview with Sky Sports' Geoff Shreeves after Manchester United's 2-1 loss at Tottenham.
Goals from Victory Wanyama and Harry Kane dealt a second straight Premier League defeat to Mourinho's side, despite Wayne Rooney's second-half consolation in the final match at White Hart Lane.
The result means Manchester United cannot finish in the top four this season and must win the Europa League final against Ajax to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Mourinho spoke to Sky Sports reporter Shreeves for two minutes after the match, defending his decision to rest players ahead of the final in Stockholm on May 24.
But when he was asked what Manchester United needed next season to mount a challenge for the Premier League title, he refused to answer.
"I don't want to think about it in this moment. I want to think about the final I have to play," he said before walking out of the interview room.
Shreeves requested another question, but the Manchester United manager decided to move on.
