Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has been granted a testimonial by the club, which will feature a game between a Manchester United 2008 XI and the Michael Carrick All-Stars.
Carrick joined United from Tottenham in July 2006 and has been a key figure in the club's success, securing a host of silverware during his 11 years at Old Trafford.
The 35-year-old is a five-time Premier League winner with United and has also claimed the Champions League, FA Cup and FIFA Club World Cup during an illustrious career.
Carrick also came on as a half-time substitute in United's 3-2 EFL Cup final win over Southampton at Wembley on Sunday.
All money raised from the testimonial, after expenses, will go to charity, with the Michael Carrick Foundation created to distribute the money to advance opportunities for youngsters in Manchester and Newcastle.
The game will be played at Old Trafford on Sunday June 4. The confirmed list of players for the United team includes Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, while the All-Stars line-up will feature Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Michael Owen.
Carrick told Sky Sports News HQ: "Time flies, I mean 11 seasons now.
"There's a lot gone on, a lot of highs, some lows, and I've come through it all and I am still here, still fighting.
"I am just proud to have gone through it all and still be here.
"To play at this club for so long, when you have got to achieve such a standard season-in season-out, it's not an easy thing to do, so I am very proud to have the testimonial, to be able to celebrate being at the club for so long."
Despite being 35-years-old, Carrick has become a pivotal part of Jose Mourinho's plans at Old Trafford but, with his contract up at the end of the season, Carrick admits he doesn't know if he'll be a United player next term.
"I still feel good, I still feel fit," he said. "In terms of how long [he'll be at United], I don't know yet.
"It's not something I can commit to at the moment but hopefully, in the not too distant future, we'll have an idea.
"I think it's only right for me and for the club to know exactly what direction we are moving in. If I am here, if I am not, it's got to be right for both parties."
