Manchester United have revealed a pre-season tour in China ahead of the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.
United will spend eight days in the Far East country, playing two games, and their opponents and fixture dates will be announced at a later date.
The Red Devils first traveled to China in 1975, and have gone to visit a further nine times since, estimating that they have around 107 million followers in the country.
There has been speculation United could potentially face rivals Manchester City, who are also visiting China to play in the International Champions Cup tournament, but opponents and dates for the games have not yet been confirmed.
During their trips east, they have played 12 times against local teams, the most recent against Hong Kong side Kitchee SC in 2013 in front of over 40,000 fans.
"Manchester United has strong historical links with China, and we are very proud of our relationship and of our fans throughout the country," United' executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward's told the club's official website.
"We have always enjoyed exceptional support in the country, so naturally, it is something that everybody is very much looking forward to this summer."
