Queens Park Rangers midfielder Samba Diakite has joined Saudi Arabian top-flight side Al Ittihad on a season-long loan deal.
The Senegal international, 25, joined Rangers permanently after a successful loan from Nancy in 2011/12.
However, having struggled to impress since, Diakite will now spend the campaign away from Loftus Road after a miserable time on loan at Watford last season.
He was sent off in his first game for the Hornets, and failed to start in any subsequent matches.
Diakite has made 23 appearances for the R’s in all, scoring one goal.
