Who were the standout players in the Premier League this weekend? Stuart Pearce picks his best XI.
The former England defender has picked his best XI from weekend's action which saw good wins for Manchester City, Chelsea, Wolves Crystal Palace and Cardiff, while Tottenham and Manchester United edged to wins over Newcastle and Leicester respectively.
There were plenty of excellent performances to choose from but who got the nod? Here are the 11 players Pearce picked, and his reasons why...

I think on form this season Ben Foster is England's No 1 goalkeeper. He's been an inspired signing at Watford. As goalkeepers go, and a lot of them will be pushing to get in the reckoning for PFA Player of the Year, every time I've seen Foster play this year he's been outstanding. Lukasz Fabianski's done really well at West Ham as have Ederson, Alisson and De Gea at Man City, Liverpool and Manchester United respectively but Foster has been outstanding.

Cardiff's win against Bournemouth was the game I covered at the weekend. I though Sol Bamba led the line brilliantly at the back. He was fantastic and snuffed out a lot of danger. He's joined in a back four by Matt Doherty, Conor Coady following Wolves' win at Everton and Luke Shaw after Manchester United's win at Leicester.

Callum Paterson and Josh Murphy put in very unselfish performances. Both played out wide and they were given a job to track the full-backs in Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Smith. They diligently did that every minute they were on the pitch. It was unselfish work for the team.
As well as his defensive work, Murphy was also fantastic going forward. He really caused Bournemouth problems.
They are partnered by Paul Pogba, who put in another outstanding performance for Manchester United at Leicester.

Marcus Rashford made his 100th appearance for Manchester United and scored the winner for them in their win at Leicester. However, he cannot displace Eden Hazard, Sergio Aguero or Heung-min Son in my team of the week.
