Everton showed personality and character, says Marco Silva after Huddersfield win
Richarlison's 11th goal of the season was enough to beat hosts

Everton manager Marco Silva hailed his side's "character and personality" after recording a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium.
Richarlison's early goal was enough to clinch victory for the 10-man visitors at the bottom club despite Lucas Digne being sent off midway through the second half.
New Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert's first game in charge ended in another damaging defeat, as Everton reacted to their FA Cup exit at the hands of Millwall in the perfect fashion with only their third away league win of the season.
"It's an important result for us," Silva said. "When you win away it's always important but it wasn't a fantastic performance. Sometimes you have to win games with character and personality.
"We started the game well and the game was under control. I told the players to try to score the second goal at the start of the second half, which is the right solution but we kept a good balance.

"With 25 minutes with 10 players it's always tough, and we've achieved three points that our players deserve.
"After the red card, we had to be more compact, and we did that. They had one direct free-kick and one header but they didn't have any other chances to equalise. For that we deserved the three points."
Silva left out Paris Saint-Germain target Idrissa Gueye, while making four other changes to the side that were beaten 3-2 by Millwall at The Den.
Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in signing Gueye, Sky Sports News understands. Gueye handed in a transfer request in a bid to secure a move to PSG, Sky Sports News reported earlier on Tuesday, with the 29-year-old having written to club officials pleading with them to allow him to join the French champions.
When asked for an update on the situation, Silva added: "I have tried to have all the information to give you [on Gueye] to be honest with you now, and the information I have at this moment is that there's nothing new.
"He will keep being our player, and there's no new offers for him coming from Paris Saint-Germain or any other club.
"I spoke with our board before I came here and there's nothing new. Gana is not playing today because he had a minor problem in his groin, and there's nothing more to say about it."
