Graeme Souness, Peter Reid and Jamie Carragher were in the Sky Sports studio to analyse Liverpool's 3-1 win over Everton.
Sadio Mane opened the scoring after eight minutes at Anfield, only for Matthew Pennington to equalise on his first appearance of the season for Everton.
Philippe Coutinho quickly restored Liverpool's lead and Divock Origi, who replaced an injured Mane in the second half, made the points safe.
The win moves Liverpool above Manchester City, who face Arsenal on Super Sunday.
Souness, Reid and Carragher discussed Romelu Lukaku's performance, whether Ross Barkley was fortunate not to be sent off, and why Everton were below their best.
"All the better players were in red shirts," said Reid. "Everton didn't turn up, they were second best all over the park. When they got crosses in they looked dangerous but Lukaku was distinctly average. Everton are a millions miles away against the better sides."
