The MNF analysts were asked to pick between Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, who face each other on Super Sunday.
Carragher said: "I just think at the moment Kane but Lukaku has the potential. Lukaku has physical attributes that Kane just does not have, that power, pace and aerial ability.
"Without a doubt, right now it's Kane. There's still more to come from Lukaku."
Carragher and Neville were also asked for their thoughts on N'Golo Kante's chances of winning PFA Player of the Year and their take on Sam Allardyce's battle to keep Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
