Alan Smith brings you his round-up from all the action in Bournemouth as Jose Mourinho's Manchester United saw off Eddie Howe's side 3-1.
It was virtually the perfect start for Mourinho on his return to the English top flight, as his side secured the Portuguese his first Premier League success as United boss.
Midfielder Juan Mata set United on their way after 40 minutes, captain Wayne Rooney headed a second just before the hour mark and summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic got himself up and running five minutes later from 25 yards.
Adam Smith then pulled one back in emphatic fashion with just over 20 minutes to go, but it was too little too late for Bournemouth.
Mourinho said after the game: "We are building something strong and to build something strong, it's not just the people on the pitch, it's the people on the bench, the ones not selected and fundamentally it's the Red family."
