The 2015/16 football season may be coming to a close – but it won’t be long before attentions turn to next season.
Leicester's name will have only been on the Premier League trophy for 45 days when the fixtures are announced for the new Premier League season.
All 380 top-flight fixtures will be available from 9am on June 15 when the Foxes will find out who they will kick-off the defence of their trophy against when the season begins on August 13.
The Sky Bet Football League fixtures will be announced on June 22 with the Championship, League One and League Two all starting a week earlier than the Premier League on August 6.
The Capital One Cup, featuring all 92 clubs from the Football League and the Premier League is another early starter, with the first round taking place week commencing August 8.
Premier League clubs enter the competition in round two, which will be played week commencing August 21, with clubs that have qualified for the Champions League or Europa League joining in round three (week commencing September 19).
Another domestic cup competition which begins in August is the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and it starts week commencing August 29.
The dates for next season's FA Cup are yet to be announced.
In Europe, the 2016/17 Champions League kicks off on June 28 with the first qualifying round.
We will not see an English side in action until the play-off round which gets underway with the first legs on either August 23 or 24.
Leicester's historic Premier League win means they have already confirmed their place in the group stage of next season's competition and their first Champions League campaign will start on September 14 or 15.
The race for Europa League qualification is going down to the wire in the Premier League but it won't be long before next season's tournament gets underway.
The first qualifying round starts on June 30 with the group stage starting on September 15.
The 2016 European Super Cup, which pits the winners of the Champions League against the Europa League winners, takes place at Rosenborg's Lerkendal Stadion on August 9.
