Liverpool striker Divock Origi has pulled out of Belgium’s squad for their game with Portugal due to a thigh injury, with Christian Benteke also doubtful for the friendly.
Everton forward Kevin Mirallas has been drafted in by national team manager Marc Wilmots as a replacement for 20-year-old Origi, who debuted for Belgium at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Benteke's participation in the friendly - switched from Brussels to the Portuguese city of Leiria due to this week's terror attacks - is also questionable with the 6ft 3in striker reportedly suffering with a knee complaint.
Liverpool face an anxious wait over the fitness of the duo, with Daniel Sturridge - who has started just 11 matches for the Reds this season - currently the only fit senior striker at the club.
Roberto Firmino has been deployed in attack on a number of occasions by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, but was forced to withdraw from Brazil's squad for their World Cup qualifier against Uruguay this week with a hamstring problem.
The 24-year-old also missed Sunday's 3-2 defeat at Southampton and is continuing his rehabilitation at Liverpool's warm weather training camp in Tenerife for players not on international duty.
