Head coach Quique Flores was pleased with his Watford side

Quique Sanchez Flores rated Watford's display in their 2-0 win over West Ham as their most complete of the season so far.

The Hornets were in complete control at Vicarage Road and secured the win through goals either side of half-time from Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo.

The Hammers struggled to get into the game and their afternoon ended on another sour note when James Collins was shown a straight red card for a poor challenge on Ighalo.

Watford move up to ninth in the Premier League table as a result and are only five points outside of the top four.

"The boys did really well," said the Hornets boss.

"Everyone knows how important Ighalo is but a lot of players have the opportunity to score, "We are defending well and keeping he ball with confidence and a lot of players have ability to score.

"Was it our best performance? Yes, probably. I like it when we play football, and we defended well and played football with confidence. We are a tough team when we play like this."
