Depending on the result at Aberdeen, a win against Dundee could lift Rangers up to second in the table ahead of a hectic festive schedule.
Tony Docherty's side have only managed one away win the the league this season and have not won at Ibrox since back in 2001.
A bug swept through the Dundee squad earlier this week but the manager is hopeful most of his players will be available for Saturday's game.
Can Hibs' resurgence continue at Pittodrie?
After their blistering start to the season, Aberdeen are without a win in their last five Premiership games and they could lose their place in second if that does not change on Saturday.
While the Dons have struggled of late, it was Hibs' thrilling comeback for a 3-3 draw with Jimmy Thelin's side that appears to have kick-started their season.
They have secured wins either side of a defeat at Celtic and are out of the relegation danger zone.
Aberdeen have only won one of their last seven league meetings with the Hibees - a 4-0 away win in May last season.
What else is there to look out for?
There is a bottom-of-the-table battle at Tynecastle as Hearts return from Conference League action to take on St Johnstone.
Victory for Neil Critchley's side would lift them off the foot of the table and send their opponents below them.
