The dates have been set for the 2024/25 Championship, League One and League Two seasons and fans can start planning in earnest now the fixtures are out.
Here's all you need to know about the new term and how to follow the action with a bumper new offering via Sky Sports+.
The new Championship season starts on Friday August 9.
Blackburn vs Derby and Preston vs Sheffield United headline the start of a new era on Sky Sports with every game of the opening weekend in the EFL available on the newly-launched Sky Sports+.
League One and League Two also start on Friday August 9, with Barnsley vs Mansfield Town in the third tier and Chesterfield vs Swindon Town in the fourth tier also streamed live on Sky Sports+.
Every opening weekend game across the Championship, League One and League Two will be streamed live on Sky Sports+, a landmark first in broadcasting history.
Across the course of the season, more than 1,000 EFL games will be broadcast on Sky Sports+ with every team featuring more than 20 times, at no extra cost to Sky Sports subscribers.
The EFL has said that the regular season will end on May 3, 2025.
The 46 rounds of league matches will take place across 33 weekends, nine midweeks and four Bank Holidays in the Championship, with Leagues One and Two playing over 36 weekends, six midweeks and four Bank Holidays.
The Sky Bet Play-Offs will take place over the 2025 May Bank Holiday weekend (24-26 May).

The 2024 summer transfer window in the EFL and the Premier League opened on Friday, June 14. The window will close on August 30 at 11pm UK time.
The Carabao Cup begins in mid-August, with the draw and fixtures to be confirmed.
The group stage of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, involving League One, League Two and 16 invited Under-21 Premier League teams, starts in early September.
