Steven Gerrard's Rangers will kick off their Scottish Premiership campaign at Aberdeen, while Celtic start their title defence at home to promoted Livingston.
Gerrard will get his first taste of league life in the dugout - against the side that pipped Gers to second place last term - on Sunday, August 5, while his former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers sees his treble-winners start at home a day earlier against a side still searching for a new manager.
The former Reds will turn rivals when the first Old Firm clash of the season takes place at Celtic Park on September 1 and a second, end-of-year showdown at Ibrox on December 29 is followed by a third back at Celtic Park on March 30.
Hearts host the first Edinburgh derby on October 31 and then travel to Easter Road on December 29, before hosting their neighbours again at Tynecastle on April 6 - the final round before the league split.
Elsewhere on the opening weekend, Hibernian host Motherwell, Kilmarnock welcome St Johnstone and Hearts travel to Hamilton, while newcomers St Mirren have a home start against Dundee.
A winter break takes place again between December 31 and January 18 and the campaign concludes on May 18/19, with the post-split fixtures to be confirmed later in the season.
