Heracles clinched a third successive win to move into the top half of the Eredivisie as they hit back from a goal down to edge out lowly Twente 2-1 at the Polman Stadion.
Twente seemed set to end a 10-match winless streak, a sequence stretching back to mid-December, when they went ahead five minutes after half-time through on-loan Malaga forward Adnane Tighadouini's strike.
But former Liverpool winger Kristoffer Peterson levelled in the 57th minute when he converted Brandley Kuwas' cross.
And Twente's misery deepened further when Adam Maher turned Curacao international midfielder Kuwas' corner into his own net six minutes later.
While Heracles are up to ninth, Twente remain in 16th, five points adrift of safety.
