Olivier Giroud scored in France's 2-0 friendly win over Wales at the Stade De France, though he was sent back to Arsenal after suffering a thigh injury. Laurent Koscielny helped the hosts keep a clean sheet in that match, while Aaron Ramsey started for Wales.
In Giroud's absence, Alexandre Lacazette then scored twice in France's 2-2 friendly draw with Germany on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka played both legs as Switzerland secured a 1-0 aggregate victory to reach the World Cup at the expense of Northern Ireland.

Eric Dier captained England for the first time in their 0-0 draw at home to Wembley - doing so again in the 0-0 draw against Brazil. Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose both started against Germany, while the latter came off the bench for in the Brazil game.
Dele Alli did not feature in the England squad after picking up a hamstring problem, while Harry Kane and Harry Winks were withdrawn due to injury. Kane has been declared fit for Saturday's derby, although doubts remain over whether Alli and Winks will feature.
