Liverpool-bound Naby Keita went from hero to zero for Guinea after he scored a goal and then got sent off in their 4-1 defeat to Tunisia.
Wearing the captain's armband, Keita scored first for Guinea with a neat run and finish, but Youssef Msakni equalised in stoppage time at the end of the first half and then added two more after the break, with Mohamed Amine Ben Amor also scoring.
And with Guinea 3-1 down in the closing stages, Keita lashed out at Mohamed Ben Amor before being shown a straight red card.
Liverpool confirmed the agreement of a club-record deal to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Keita next summer.
Sky Sports News understands the Reds will pay the £48m release clause that will allow Keita to join the club, as well as an undisclosed premium.
There had been talk of Liverpool paying more to get Keita in January rather than next summer, with the 22-year-old underperforming for the Bundesliga side so far this term.
