Harry Kane's 100th goal in all competitions for Tottenham set them on their way to a 3-0 Premier League win at Everton.
The England forward got lucky after 28 minutes when what was intended as a cross drifted over home goalkeeper Jordan Pickford's head and into the back of the net.
Although Kane later admitted his strike was not intentional, it played a significant part in Everton's defeat as their morale clearly dipped after they fell behind.
Christian Eriksen added a second shortly before half-time to leave Mauricio Pochettino's team in control.
Kane then struck again in the early moments of the second half with an excellent finish after he was set up from the left by the impressive full-back Ben Davies.
From there, the match was all but over as a contest and Everton were noticeably off form as they struggled to find a way back into the game.
Tottenham were able to see out the match and become just the second away team to win in the last 18 league fixtures between the clubs.
