Burnley have signed striker Nahki Wells from Premier League rivals Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old, who recently underwent ankle surgery, passed a medical on Deadline Day and signed a three-year deal at Turf Moor.
Wells becomes manager Sean Dyche's seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
The Bermuda international had less than 11 months remaining on his contract and Huddersfield decided to cash in now rather than lose him on a free transfer next summer.
"I have no doubt this is an ideal move for me," Wells told the club's website.
"I have played at every level besides the Premier League. I achieved that by getting promoted (with Huddersfield) and it wasn't something that was going to change. I have always wanted to play there.
"I've documented that way back, when I first broke into the game.
"Now the opportunity is here and I'm very thankful to the football club to give it to me. I feel I can go on and do great things."
Wells joined the Terriers from Bradford in January 2014 and has since scored 48 goals in 152 appearances for the club.
He netted 10 times last season as Huddersfield won promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history.
