Manchester United have entered the race to sign Belgium and Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
Sky Sports News HQ understands United are keen to trump Chelsea in their efforts to sign the 29-year old, one of the most sought-after midfield talents in Europe.
We understand United's interest is at an early stage and no deal has been agreed.
Last year Chelsea made several efforts to tempt him to Stamford Bridge, a final bid rumoured to be in excess of £34m.
Nainggolan played for Piacenza and Cagliari before joining Roma in 2014 for £7.7m. In 24 appearances for Belgium, he has scored six goals.
Nainggolan, speaking to Sky Sports News HQ in March, confirmed Antonio Conte's interest, saying: "Yes. I talked to him.
"They were really interested and wanted me over there. That's all I can say."
He said of the Premier League: "I watch it a lot. A lot of my team-mates play there. It's the best league in the world.
"We have to make choices in life. I am having a good season. When the window opens we will talk about it again."
