Romelu Lukaku's departure from Everton this summer is virtually inevitable, according to the Sunday Supplement panel.
The Belgian striker is the top scorer in the Premier League this season with 21 goals, and has indicated he wants to play Champions League football and challenge for trophies.
Lukaku's deal at Everton runs out in 2019, but he recently turned down a new deal to stay at Goodison Park, and the Daily Mirror's chief sports writer Andy Dunn believes that the striker already has a move lined up.
"I think that ship has probably sailed," Dunn told the Sunday Supplement. "Whether Everton dig their heels in or not I'm not sure, but I think he will go. Reading between the lines I've got a hunch he thinks something is lined up.
"The new stadium will be there in several years time, but Lukaku will be thinking he's in the form of his life at the moment and he can't afford to hang around.
"I think he should stay, even at Goodison Park. He's got maybe one or two years of improvement in him and he could see out his contract."
Everton announced a deal this week to build a new stadium in Liverpool to replace Goodison Park, and Dunn says that it is necessary for the club to leave their home to get to the next level.
"Everton fans will be sad to leave Goodison Park, but eventually a bit of realism has to kick in, especially if they want to be able to challenge 'the big six'," he said.
"Everton will want that to be a big seven, and to do that they have to get the new stadium."
