We look back to 2003 when a second-half hat-trick from Robbie Keane helped Tottenham to overcome Everton at White Hart Lane

Ahead of Tottenham v Everton on Nissan Super Sunday, we delve into the Premier League Vault to relive Spurs' 4-3 win in January 2003.

During a thrilling encounter at White Hart Lane, Brian McBride gave the Toffees the lead inside 10 minutes before Gus Poyet - currently manager at Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua - got Spurs level four minutes later.

The sides went into half-time level but a thrilling second 45 minutes saw five goals shared, including a hat-trick for Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.

He put Spurs ahead within five minutes of the restart, but Steve Watson equalised for Everton eight minutes later.

The pendulum kept swinging in Tottenham's favour though and former Republic of Ireland international Keane was on the scoresheet once again in the 68th minute before Tomasz Radzinski levelled again for the visiting Toffees.

But it was Keane and Spurs who had the last laugh and delivered the final blow with seven minutes of normal time remaining to seal the 4-3 victory and a hat-trick for the striker.
