Hal Robson-Kanu’s strike for Wales against Belgium at Euro 2016 has been nominated for the FIFA Puskás Award alongside goals from Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The award, set up to honour Hungary and Real Madrid legend Ferenc Puskás, celebrates the best goals scored throughout the year.
Robson-Kanu's goal against Belgium was one of the highlights of the tournament in France, with the now-West Brom striker performing a Cruyff turn in the box under pressure from Marouane Fellaini and Thomas Meunier before lashing an effort past Thibaut Courtois.
The goal gave Wales the lead for the first time in the quarter-final against a much-fancied Belgium side as they went on to win 3-1 and set up an historic semi-final date with eventual winners Portugal.
Robson-Kanu is in fine company among the nominees, with goals from Barcelona pair Messi and Neymar also included.
The Argentina captain's strike for his country against the United States in the semi-final of the Copa America - which saw him eclipse Gabriel Batistuta as his nation's leading scorer - is on the shortlist.
Neymar's goal for Barcelona in their 3-0 win over Villarreal in November last year, which saw the Brazilian flick the ball over his shoulder and over a defender before volleying it past the 'keeper, has also been recognised.
Mario Gaspar's acrobatic effort from the edge of the box for Spain against England in an international friendly last November has been nominated alongside a Saul Niguez strike for Atletico Madrid against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Elsewhere on the list, Hlompho Kekana's goal for South Africa against Cameroon in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier is nominated, as is Marlone's strike for Corinthians against Cobresal in the Copa Libertadores.
Daniuska Rodríguez's goal for Venezuela against Colombia in the South American U17 Women's Football Championship is also listed alongside Simon Skrabb's strike for Atvidaberg in the Allsvenskan in Sweden and Mohd Faiz Subri's goal for Penang in the Malaysia Super League.
Fans vote for their favourite goal, with the shortlist whittled down to three after December 2 before another round of voting. The winner will be revealed at the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony on January 9.
