Liverpool's last-eight clash with Leeds United completes schedule
Friday 28 October 2016 17:39, UK
Manchester United's EFL Cup quarter-final with West Ham, and Liverpool's last-eight tie with Leeds United, will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in November.
Having successfully navigated their fourth-round ties, the remaining eight clubs find themselves just three wins away from Wembley and the chance to win the first major piece of silverware this season.
Fresh from knocking out neighbours and cup holders Manchester City, United host West Ham at Old Trafford on Wednesday, November 30, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.
Jose Mourinho's quest for a fourth League Cup triumph will have to overcome a substantial hurdle though, with Slaven Bilic's men having eliminated his former club Chelsea en route to the last eight.
Before that, the focus will be on Merseyside, where Leeds travel to the home of the eight-time League Cup winners for the first time in 13 years.
Liverpool, last season's runners-up, will be hoping to go one better this time around, and will be full of confidence having dumped Tottenham out in the previous round.
Leeds' Championship campaign has been indifferent but they've found consistency in the cup and they will be hoping to cause an upset on Tuesday, November 29, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.
