As Premier League champions Leicester prepare to kick the new campaign off, we pick out eight fresh faces you can catch live on Sky Sports this weekend...

Hull City v Leicester City - Saturday, 12.45pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

Mike Phelan (Hull City)

After a reported dispute with the club's board over transfers, Steve Bruce's decision to leave Hull just three weeks before the start of the Premier League season has halted the club's pursuit of fresh signings. As a result, all eyes will be on the dug-out at the KCOM Stadium, where former Manchester United assistant Phelan is expected to take charge in what could be his audition to succeed Bruce on permanent basis.

Leicester's new striker Ahmed Musa scored two great goals in 20 minutes against Barcelona in the International Champions Cup.

Having gone on to impress in the second half of Sunday's defeat in the Community Shield at Wembley, the former CSKA Moscow forward will be keen to kick the Foxes' title defence off with another eye-catching display on Humberside.

Bournemouth v Man Utd - Super Sunday, 1.30pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

Brad Smith (Bournemouth)

Of the six summer signings Eddie Howe has brought to the Vitality Stadium so far, Liverpool academy graduate Smith is the most intriguing. The Australia international was allowed to follow in Jordon Ibe's footsteps in moving to the south coast, where he is tipped to form part of the new-look Cherries defence recovering from captain Tommy Elphick's exit.

The France international has returned to Old Trafford after four years to take care of unfinished business, and he's set his sights on winning the Premier League title. Bournemouth inflicted a painful defeat on Jose Mourinho's Chelsea last season, now the Portuguese - with Pogba and co - are back to avenge that.

Arsenal v Liverpool - Super Sunday, 4pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

Granit Xhaka (Arsenal)

Arsenal go into their clash with Liverpool this Sunday facing a host of defensive injury concerns and as such will need £34m signing Xhaka to immediately exert his influence in midfield and offer protection to a makeshift backline. It promises to be an acid test of the Swiss international's credentials as the answer to Arsenal's midfield issues.

His £36m transfer fee raised some eyebrows but Mane's searing pace and unpredictability look to be a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp's all-action brand of football.

Chelsea v West Ham - Monday Night Football, 8pm, Sky Sports 1 HD

N'Golo Kante (Chelsea)

A vital component of Leicester's title-winning campaign, Kante will add defensive steel and boundless energy to Chelsea's midfield, which will be essential ahead of a feisty curtain-raiser against West Ham. Kante, who was brought to Stamford Bridge for £32m, made more tackles and interceptions than any other player across Europe's top five leagues last season and will need to continue in the same vein to take the sting out of their cross-city rivals.

Andre Ayew (West Ham)

West Ham's club-record signing will be hoping that lightning can strike twice, having also scored on his debut against Chelsea for Swansea last season.
