Paul Pogba's world record return to Manchester United is finally complete but is he - and the 19 other most expensive players in the world - worth it?

The French midfielder left Old Trafford for Juventus for free after his contract expired in the summer of 2012. His return to the Premier League is now the most expensive transfer in world football history.

Before Manchester United, Real Madrid owned the two most expensive players in the world in Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo. Pogba's transfer fee has now ecliped the staggering £85.3m (100m euros) Real paid Tottenham for Bale in 2013 and the £80m to Manchester United for Ronaldo in 2009.

England's Raheem Sterling, Zinedine Zidane and Arsenal's Mesut Özil are others to feature in the top 20. But are Pogba, Bale, Ronaldo and the others really worth it? Take a swipe below and find out what others think as well.
