Northern Ireland international Aaron Hughes has signed for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters on a one-year deal.
The 36-year-old becomes the marquee player for the Blasters and will play under former Reading and Crystal Palace manager Steve Coppell.
Hughes played all three games for Northern Ireland at this summer's Euro 2016 and had been linked with League One sides MK Dons and Oldham.
The Blasters are part-owned by Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar and have another former English-based player in their ranks in former QPR winger Antonio German.
Coppell took over as Blasters boss during the off-season after they finished bottom of the eight-team league last year.
Former England Under-21 manager Peter Taylor was among three managers to take charge of the team in their 14 games in 2015, who finished the season with Terry Phelan in charge.
