Jose Mourinho has been appointed as Manchester United's new manager and attentions are already turning to the mouth-watering Premier League season ahead.
The former Chelsea boss is charged with transforming United's fortunes after three disappointing seasons under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, but his mission will not be simple in a fiercely competitive Premier League.
Mourinho will renew his old rivalry with Pep Guardiola across Manchester, and he will also come up against Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and Claudio Ranieri at Leicester. Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp and Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino will also hope to challenge at the top of the table, and Mourinho will face his Chelsea predecessor Antonio Conte, too.
Here, we examine Mourinho's head-to-head record against the Premier League's heavyweight managers...
Mourinho's bitter rivalry with Guardiola stretches back to his days at Inter Milan, where he famously triumphed over Guardiola's Barcelona in the 2010 Champions League semi-final.
The following season saw Mourinho chalk up another victory over Guardiola in the Copa del Rey final with Real Madrid, but there was also a galling 5-0 La Liga defeat at the Nou Camp.
Overall, Guardiola has a far superior head-to-head record, with Mourinho only winning three of their 16 meetings. The Portuguese will hope for a change of fortunes when they lock horns in Manchester.
Mourinho will relish another opportunity to face Arsene Wenger. The pair have been embroiled in numerous wars of words since Mourinho's arrival at Chelsea in 2004, culminating in them almost coming to blows on the Stamford Bridge touchline in October 2014.
On the pitch, Mourinho has dominated his rival. He is yet to taste defeat in 13 competitive meetings with Wenger, and his tally of seven victories included a 6-0 thrashing at Stamford Bridge in the Frenchman's 1000th game in charge of the Gunners.
A victory for Arsenal in the 2015 Community Shield was some consolation for Wenger, but Mourinho will be eager to preserve his unbeaten record in competitive games.
Mourinho's Real Madrid took on Jurgen Klopp's Dortmund four times in the Champions League in the 2012/13 season. The German came out on top, winning their group and then eliminating Madrid in the semi-finals thanks to a four-goal blitz from Robert Lewandowski at the Westfalenstadion.
The pair have met once since Klopp's arrival in the Premier League, and it ended in more disappointment for Mourinho as Liverpool beat Chelsea 3-1 at Stamford Bridge last October.
Mourinho faced Pochettino's Espanyol six times when he was at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, winning on four occasions and drawing twice.
They went head to head four times after moving to Chelsea and Tottenham respectively. Mourinho's men won 3-0 in their first meeting and also beat Spurs in the Capital One Cup final, although he did suffer his first defeat to Pochettino with a 5-3 loss at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
In November, they played out a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane a few weeks before Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea.
Mourinho replaced Ranieri at Chelsea in 2004 but it wasn't until the 2008/09 season that they went head to head for the first time. That year, Mourinho's Inter won and drew against Ranieri's Juventus on their way to the Serie A title.
Juventus finished second, with Ranieri moving to Roma at the end of the campaign. Mourinho's Inter didn't win either of their Serie A games against Ranieri's side that year, but they still pipped them to the title and there was also a 1-0 win in the Coppa Italia final.
Five years later, however, Ranieri got his own back, as his Leicester side clinched a 2-1 win over Chelsea last December. It was Mourinho's last game in charge of the Blues, and Ranieri went on to win his first title.
Mourinho has only come up against his Chelsea successor once. It was December 2009 and Mourinho's Inter travelled to Conte's Atalanta for a Serie A encounter that ended 1-1. Conte's brief stay at Atalanta ended just a few weeks later, and he has not faced Mourinho since.
