Rangers midfielder Robbie Crawford has joined Alloa on loan.

The 22-year-old will stay with Rangers' Championship rivals until January after failing to feature under Mark Warburton this season.

Crawford has been at Ibrox since the age of eight and has made 57 appearances since his first-team debut in 2012.

He spent time on loan at Morton last season.

Meanwhile, fellow Ibrox midfielder Andy Murdoch has joined League One Cowdenbeath until the end of the season.

And in a further departure from the club, forward Danny Stoney has left by mutual consent.

The 19-year-old made his first-team debut in April 2013 against Clyde in Division Three and went on to make two more senior appearances that season.
