Jonathan de Guzman's proposed loan move to Bournemouth is now unlikely to happen, according to Sky sources.
The Premier League newcomers agreed a £720,000 loan fee with Napoli for De Guzman, the Netherlands midfielder who spent two years at Swansea between 2012 and 2014.
An option for a £3.5m deal was also agreed, but sources now say the switch is very unlikely to happen.
Bournemouth remain active on deadline day and are expected to complete the signing of striker Glenn Murray from Crystal Palace.
A £5m fee has been agreed, and Murray arrived on the south coast on Tuesday morning to undergo a medical.
