Dinamo Zagreb maintain that no bids have been lodged for reported Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan target Marcelo Brozovic.

Sevilla, Schalke and Roma have also been heavily linked with the Croatia international, who is heading back to his homeland after a disappointing World Cup campaign.

A scramble for his services could soon be sparked, with one approach likely to lead to another.

No movement has been made as yet, though, with Dinamo warning potential suitors that they have no interest in discussing a deal.

They acknowledge that an offer from Inter was rebuffed some time ago, but insist that no official bids from England, Germany or Spain have been tabled as yet.

Vice-president Zdravko Mamic told 24sata: “Currently there are no offers for him.

“A long time ago the Nerazzurri offered 4million euros (£3.2m), but we said no.

“We do not intend to sell him because he is in our plans to create a Dinamo side that can do well in Europe.”

Part of that project has included the recruitment of Portugal international goalkeeper Eduardo, with the 31-year-old joining on a three-year contract from Genoa.

Dinamo boss Zoran Mamic said of the experienced shot-stopper: “This is a big thing for our club and for all of Croatian football.

“We have just signed a great goalkeeper who will bring even more quality to our club.”
