Serbian winger signs on at St Etienne
St Etienne have confirmed that Serbian winger Danijel Aleksic has been awarded a permanent contract by the club.
The 20-year-old impressed during a recent trial spell and has seen those efforts rewarded accordingly.
The two weeks he spent training with the Ligue 1 outfit allowed him to get a feel for the way things are done at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard, while the club's coaches were able to cast an eye over his potential.
All parties have now reached an agreement which will see Aleksic stay on full-time.
He has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club.
Aleksic has previously played for German second-tier side Greuther Furth and Serie A outfit Genoa.
Upon completing the deal, St Etienne coach Christophe Galtier said: "We saw a lot of qualities in him. Danijel is a bright prospect."
