Seasiders snap up defender on two-year deal
Blackpool have completed the capture of defender Paul Bignot from non-league Newport County for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old, brother of former Bristol Rovers and QPR player Marcus Bignot, has been on trial with Ian Holloway's Seasiders this week.
The former Crewe player has signed a two-year deal with the option for a further year.
Bignot told Pool's official website: "Looking on the outside, people are going to say that Conference to Championship is a massive step up.
"But if you look there are players that have done it so there's no reason to have any fear about anything."
