Foxes bring in experienced defender

Leicester City have added defender Michael Lamey to their ranks, subject to international clearance. The 30-year-old Dutchman impressed City boss Paulo Sousa during his recent trial with the Championship outfit and has agreed terms and passed his medical to join City on a Bosman. Lamey, who has played for PSV Eindhoven, Duisburg and Arminia, may not be able to make his debut on Tuesday against Macclesfield Town but should be available for the Foxes' league clash against Middlesbrough. Souza is delighted to have added an experienced defender to his squad, saying: "We need to help the squad and we want to bring in some different players than we have. "He can help us improve quicker, especially in the first phase of our build-up and defensive organisation."
