Youngster will be allowed to leave in January

Derby County are prepared to let reserve team striker Aleksander Prijovic leave the club. The 19-year-old is yet to make the breakthrough into the senior set-up at Pride Park, and faces stiff competition for a place in Nigel Clough's first-team plans. The Swiss youngster did spend brief spells on loan at Yeovil and Northampton last season, while he also underwent a trial at German outfit MSV Duisburg over the summer. On each occasion he returned to the Rams, but a move elsewhere could be edging closer. He spent last week with Danish league leaders OB Odense and scored during a trial match with the club. Odense are now keen to take Prijovic on a more permanent basis and Clough has admitted that he is willing to talk terms. "They are very interested in taking him in January, so we are just trying to get a deal done if they want to do one," he said in the Derby Telegraph. "If not, we will probably look to get him out on loan. If we can do it before the deadline (on Thursday), we will do. If not, in January."
