Dutch striker agrees to join Belgian outfit on four year deal
Sherjill MacDonald has left West Brom and agreed to join Belgian side Germinal Beerschot on a four-year deal.
The striker impressed his new employers while on loan at fellow Belgian side Roeselare, where he has scored six times in 15 league games.
The 24-year-old signed for the Baggies in January 2008 for £200,000 from AGOVV Apeldorn but has managed to make just 11 substitute appearances since then.
The Dutchman has failed to find the net during his time at The Hawthorns and this latest transfer means that he will now have played for seven clubs in his relatively short career.
MacDonald began his career at Anderlecht before moving to German side Hamburg. The striker was snapped up by Tony Mowbray after impressing for the Holland Under 21s.
