Curtis and McLachlan agree one-year deals
Morecambe have been boosted by the news that Wayne Curtis and Fraser McLachlan have agreed to sign new one-year deals.
The pair have not yet penned any contracts but have verbally agreed to stay on until the end of the 2009/10 season.
Twenty-nine-year-old Curtis has been with the club since 1998 and has scored five goals this season, while McLachlan, who joined from Mansfield in 2006, has made 25 appearances in League Two this term.
Both will be doing their best to ensure that next season is spent in League One, with the club just three points off the play-off places with a game in hand on those around them.
"Wayne and Fraser are great members of our squad and excellent players to work with," manager Sammy McIlroy told the club's official website.
"I'm delighted they have agreed to sign on again."
