Midfielder reunited with former coach at Sparta
Karim Touzani has left Aberdeen to return to Dutch football with Sparta Rotterdam.
The midfielder, who can also play in defence, struggled with injuries during his two seasons at Pittodrie after arriving from Twente Enschede.
He made 29 appearances for the Dons in all competitions and was under contract for a further 12 months.
However, he has now accepted a three-year deal with Sparta and he is due to meet up with his new team-mates next week.
Touzani's move to Sparta enables him to be reunited with the club's coach Foeke Booy, who he worked with during his time at Utrecht.
