Dynamo Kiev's UEFA Champions League campaign has been dealt a blow after news that Olexandr Shovkovskiy is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Goalkeeper Shovkovskiy suffered a knee injury during Ukraine's 2-0 defeat to Lithuania, and early indications do not look promising for the 32-year-old.
Reports suggest that he may have ruptured knee ligaments, which could see him out until the New Year.
Dynamo are likely to turn to 20-year-old stopper Olexandr Rybka for their remaining Champions League clashes against Sporting Lisbon and Roma.
The Ukrainian side have yet to record a point in Group F, and will need to record victories in their final two games to stand any chance of landing the third-place Uefa Cup spot.
