Everton have signed Hajduk Split forward Nikola Vlasic for a fee of around £8m.
The 19-year-old played against Everton in their recent Europa League qualifying tie with Hajduk and impressed Ronald Koeman, who is looking to boost his striking options.
The Croatia Under-21 international has scored 10 times in 85 appearances for Hajduk after making his first-team debut in July 2014.
"I am very excited about the opportunity to play for this big club," said the Croatia international. "The Premier League is the best league in the world and this is one of the top clubs in England. It is such a big honour for me to be here.
"When I heard that Everton were interested in me, I knew straight away I wanted to come here. Whenever someone called my manager or my father, I told them I only wanted to come to Everton."
Everton boss Koeman recently said he was in the market for two players before the end of transfer window, and has been linked with a move for out-of-favour Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The Toffees have spent close to £150m already this summer with Gylfi Sigurdsson becoming the club's record £45m signing from Swansea, Micheal Keane arriving for Burnley for £30m and Davy Klassen a £23.6m signing from Ajax.
Koeman also signed former England captain Wayne Rooney, who arrived at Goodison Park on a free transfer from Manchester United.
