Hull have agreed a fee with Liverpool for midfielder Kevin Stewart, Sky sources understand.
Stewart has been given permission to fly back from Liverpool's Asia tour to begin talks with the Championship club. The price for the 23-year-old could reach £7.5m with add-ons.
Stewart signed a new five-year deal at Liverpool in November and played nine matches for the first team and 10 with the under-23 squad last season.
Meanwhile, a deal for left-back Andrew Robertson to go in the opposite direction is getting closer - the two clubs have agreed a fee, but the two deals are not thought to be dependant on each other.
