Gillingham have swooped to sign Bournemouth duo Harry Cornick and Joe Quigley on loan until the end of the season.

Quigley rejoins the club after a stay earlier in the season that was cut short by a serious knee injury, which limited him to just three appearances in August.

Cornick, a 21-year-old winger, played 13 times for Leyton Orient before Christmas, but has just one appearance to his name for the Cherries.

Speaking to the club website, Gills' head coach Ady Pennock said: "My thanks go to AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and all of his colleagues for allowing us to bring two of their players into the club.

"Harry's a natural winger; he's got great speed and technique, and his ability to play on either side of the pitch gives us options. He'll be an exciting player to watch.

"Those who saw Joe in action before his unfortunate injury at the start of the season know what a handful he is upfront. He adds something different to the squad, and that can only be a good thing.

"The pair know each other really well, they have a great understanding on the pitch, and I'm confident they'll both do well for the club."
