Birmingham City will sign striker Lukas Jutkiewicz on a permanent deal in the January transfer window.
Jutkiewicz has been on loan at the Championship club since the end of August, and has been a big hit at St Andrew's, scoring six goals this season.
The Blues have taken up the option of signing the 27-year-old after agreeing a fee with the Clarets.
He becomes the first signing of City boss Gianfranco Zola, and on 3 January will sign a contract which keeps him at Birmingham until 2020.
The former Swindon, Everton and Coventry striker joined the Clarets from Middlesbrough in 2014 following a successful loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.
He made 25 Premier League appearances in the 2014/15 season and played five times at the start of last season before a knee injury kept him out until the start of the current campaign.
