Michael Nelson has signed a new contract with Barnet.
Experienced defender Nelson has put pen to paper on a one-year deal to keep him at the Sky Bet League 2 club for the 2016-17 season.
The 36-year-old centre-back made 32 appearances for the Bees last term, having arrived at The Hive in August 2015.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed a new contract. Everything went well last season and I really enjoyed it.
"I had one disappointing spell out injured, where I missed a bit of game time. But it was enjoyable overall.
"This group of players seem to be quite together, so hopefully next season will be even better than last year. I'm sure that once the manager builds his squad he'll have a target in pre-season. But I think that the club just wants to keep progressing.
"We want to improve on last year - win more games, get more points and see where it takes us. Personally I think that there is more to come from me next season too."
