Morecambe have released five players and offered contracts to four more as they step up their preparations for next season.
Defenders Shaun Beeley, Chris Doyle and Adam Dugdale, plus midfielder Charlie Bailey and striker Jack Kelleher, have been told they will not be given fresh deals.
But new contracts have been offered to defender Ryan Edwards, striker Shaun Miller and midfielders Jamie Devitt and Alex Kenyon, while the Sky Bet League 2 club have taken up the option on long-serving midfielder Andrew Fleming's deal.
