Manchester United defender Paddy McNair has spent a third night in hospital in Helsinki after he was injured during Northern Ireland's 1-1 draw with Finland on Sunday.
The 20-year-old suffered an abdominal injury in the 13th minute, but played on until six minutes into the second half as Michael O'Neill's side claimed the point that saw them finish top of Euro 2016 qualifying Group F.
He is believed to have bruising in the abdominal/rib area and was monitored in hospital on Sunday night and throughout Monday, although it is believed it is only precautionary.
The Northern Ireland team doctor David White remains with McNair and was kept in hospital for a third night on Tuesday.
Manchester United remain in constant dialogue with the medical staff in the Finnish capital over McNair's condition.
McNair has played just once for United this season, as a substitute in their win at Southampton last month.
