A dominant performance from Manchester City saw them record a 3-0 victory over West Ham at the Laugardalsvollur Stadium in Iceland on Friday.
Gabriel Jesus gave City an early lead after just eight minutes, finishing from point-blank range after West Ham had given away possession just outside their own box.
City should have been further ahead at the break after passing up numerous chances, but strikes from Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling in the second half gave the scoreline the gloss it deserved.
City round off their pre-season with another win, while West Ham finish it having won just once all summer. Pep Guardiola's men kick off their Premier League campaign at Brighton on Saturday, August 12, while West Ham face Manchester United at Old Trafford the following day.
The match started at a good pace for a pre-season friendly but Jesus' goal on eight minutes turned the tide and from there City were in full control.
After just eight minutes Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku got into a mix-up at the back for West Ham after a less-than-sympathetic Joe Hart pass, which led to them surrendering the ball straight to Kevin De Bruyne on the edge of the box.
The Belgian duly delivered an early curling cross to the back post which was perfect for Jesus and the 20-year-old Brazilian buried the ball into the net via a helpless Hart.
Numerous other openings were created, as David Silva, De Bruyne, Leroy Sane and Jesus were causing carnage going forward, with Sane going close with one fizzing effort and Aguero, Jesus and Danilo guilty of passing up other good chances on the counter.
The second period started in much the same vein with City dictating possession and 10 minutes into the half Guardiola's men finally had their second goal through Aguero after a lovely flowing move.
Having worked the ball around the back to Nicolas Otamendi, the Argentine defender sprayed the ball out to Sane on the left, who played in Silva with a wonderful first-time ball, before the Spaniard expertly squared for Aguero to finish.
Hart made a magnificent finger-tip save to deny Silva moments later, but on 71 minutes City got their third as the ball was worked down the right through subs Kyle Walker and Fernandinho, before 17-year-old Phil Foden took control on the edge of the box, turned and unleashed a fierce shot which Ogbonna blocked - but the ball spun kindly into the path of Sterling, who did well to finish on the volley.
West Ham did have the ball in the net through Andre Ayew late on, after the Ghanaian had robbed Eliaquim Mangala in the City box, but the referee blew for a foul in what looked a harsh decision.
City round off their pre-season with another win in dominant fashion, while West Ham end theirs with just a single win all summer.
The Citizens kick off their Premier League season at Brighton next Saturday, while the Hammers travel to Manchester United next Sunday, live on Sky Sports.
