Erik Ring’s late goal clinched Lincoln a 2-1 home win against 10-man Northampton and lifted them up to fifth place in Sky Bet League One.
The Swedish winger fired home an 88th-minute winner after Tom Hamer had cancelled out Tariqe Fosu's early opener for Northampton.
The Cobblers played the last 15 minutes with 10 men after Tyler Roberts was shown his second yellow card.

Bolton also climbed into the play-offs, up to sixth, after a thumping 4-1 win at Stevenage.

Daniel Kemp struck a consolation for Stevenage, who slipped to a third straight league defeat, while Bolton made it three wins from four.
Reading dropped out of the top six after Louie Barry's double helped send them to a 4-1 defeat at Stockport.
Will Collar and Kyle Wootton struck for County, either side of Chem Campbell's effort for Reading, but Barry converted a penalty just before half-time and added his side's fourth midway through the second half.
In League Two, Francis Okoronkwo's stoppage-time effort clinched Salford a 2-2 draw at Fleetwood.
Salford had taken the lead through Ben Woodburn and after Fleetwood had hit back to lead through Ronan Coughlan and Mark Helm, Okoronkwo struck in the eighth minute of added time.
